April 5, 2016:  Learning new things….well not exactly the “learning” part, but rather the “knowing” part after the “learning” part!  Does that make sense? Ha!

April 15, 2016:  I love my niece, Betsy who turns 20 on the 16th and my wonderful Sister Linda, who’s Birthday is today!

April 21, 2016:  I loved working from home.  Yesterday I was having such a productive and wonderful day, I thought to myself, “I can never never go back to a regular office job!”  Knowing this drives me to keep going our blog!  Its exciting!

April 29, 2016:  I am quickly coming to the end of my first month working from home and I couldn’t be happier and have loved every minute of it so far!  I also, surprisingly enough, discovered I love the outdoors!  Who knew!!  I used to tell people, “I am an outdoor girl as long as I am inside!”  When I worked in corporate America I didn’t have time to do anything other than work and sleep and occasionally make a crappy dinner for my family.  Working from home has given me the time to do those things that are not only good for my family but good for me!  Here in St. Louis there are so many great running and walking trails and we are lucky enough to live close to a beautiful one!  The entrance is located right next to Joely’s school so one day I dropped her off and headed down the trail.  I ended up walking  4 miles!  That’s probably not a lot for some people but for me it was monumental.  It helped that was a beautiful spring morning and the birds were singing, the sun shining and the squirrels playing!  It was wonderful and I was hooked.  I have walked everyday for the last three weeks!  Gayla and I are 57 years old and at this point I have never felt better in all aspects!  My career!  My health. My family. Today I am just loving EVERYTHING!

May 11, 2016.  I don’t know if I am the only person that loves daytime rain but its 12:30 here in St. Louis and I am in my craft room working on my T-shirt Tutorial and it starts thundering off in the distant.  To me that is such a comforting sound.  Outside is a bit dark and quiet.  Its a beautiful day made even better with a soft rain and rumbling thunder.  I love that!!

May 31, 2016:  I totally love Outlander!  I love everything about it.  I have read all the books and watch the series religiously!  Jamie is the ideal man and I am totally in love with him!  Sorry Steve!  It’s Jamie!! Watching the series makes me want to visit Scotland.  Maybe I will add that to my bucket list!

June 10, 2016:  I love it when I get so frustrated trying to learn how to blog, how to grow subscribers, how to customize my blog theme that I shed a few tears. Now you are saying….”You love that?”  Well, I don’t love that part of it but what I do love is when I force myself to not give up and throw my computer out the window.  I let myself cry for about 5 minutes and then I kept going and I actually figured something out!  It was a small thing but WOW it made my day!  Did I say I love “Jamie Fraser”?  Well I DO!!!

August 1, 2016:  Friends that are better friends to me than I am to them. They inspire me to be better.  I fall short but I am working on it!  Brenda D. and all my friends in Wichita, you know who you are!!
